Ishpal Sidhu, Associate

EDUCATION

  • J.D., University of Notre Dame Law School

  • B.S., Biological Sciences, University of California, Irvine

Ishpal is a skilled and accomplished litigation professional with a diverse background and a passion for advocacy. She has represented sophisticated clients in criminal and civil litigation at two boutique litigation firms in Los Angeles.

As an undergrad, she was a decorated member of the nationally ranked Mock Trial Team at U.C. Irvine and was a top competitor on the Barrister’s Trial Team at the University of Notre Dame Law School. During her time at Notre Dame, Ishpal received the Dean’s Award for Intensive Trial Advocacy, and zealously defended her clients while working at the St. Joseph County Public Defender’s Office. During an externship in the Hardcore Gang Unit of LA County District Attorney’s Office, Ishpal achieved leniency for a reformed gang member about to receive his third strike for acts carried out in self-defense—in the face of death threats from the Mexican Mafia, the individual received a substantially reduced one-year sentence in county jail. A recipient of an A- in now-Supreme Court Justice Amy Barrett’s Constitutional Law class, Ishpal’s proudest (and most prescient) law school moment was sparring with the future justice about political influences on the Supreme Court.
