HIGHLIGHTS
Secured a federal trial victory on behalf of a minority shareholder in a breach of fiduciary duty and corporate waste case involving a $250 million company. The jury found the controlling shareholders, board members, and officers liable, and awarded over $21 million in damages.
Defended a leading medical practice with over a dozen offices in Southern California, securing a favorable global settlement that avoided liability, preserved client’s medical practice, and resulted in full dismissal.
Represented multiple ultra-high-net-worth clients, safeguarding their interests and defending against fraudulent schemes and attempts to exploit their resources and reputation.

Jonas P. Mann is an experienced attorney with over fifteen years of complex litigation experience. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced with prominent litigation firms in Los Angeles and San Francisco and litigated case here in California and in federal and state courts across the country.
Mr. Mann earned his law degree from Temple University – James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia where he was an editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review and participated in the school’s Death Penalty Litigation Clinical. Mr. Mann earned a B.A. in international affairs, with honors, from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
During law school Mr. Mann worked for an AmLaw 50 firm headquartered in Philadelphia and the in-house legal department of a commercial real estate investment trust. Following law school Mr. Mann clerked for Hon. Carol E. Higbee, Superior Court of New Jersey.
Among his representations are:
Obtained favorable False Claims Act ruling on behalf of state attorney general and successfully defended all appeals, including obtaining denial of a writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court.
Represented borrowers in litigation resulting in nationwide class settlement against financial institution for breach of contract in auto leases.
Obtained favorable Ninth Circuit ruling in representation of a county district attorney.
Represented multiple celebrities and fashion models for misappropriation of likeness and Lanham Act violations in connection with the unauthorized use of their image in advertising.
Represented dentists in a litigation resulting in a nationwide settlement against a medical device manufacturer.
Represented homeowners in multiple cases resulting in nationwide class settlements against manufacturers of residential construction materials for breach of warranty.
